DigiWx Dual Digital Barometer with Handheld Display.

Belfort is now offering the DigiWx Dual Digital Barometer as a stand-alone altimeter setting system. Having recently acquired FAA Approval, this state-of-the-art barometer and LED display combination is a cost-effective solution for various aviation applications in support of VFR/IFR operations. The DigiWx Dual Digital Barometer provides:

• FAA Approval as a redundant altimeter setting source which delivers a cost effective solution in support of IFR operations and reduces altitude penalty on MDA for GPS approaches thus improving mission success rates;
• Wireless architecture between sensor and receiver provides flexibility for remote operations and ease of installation (transmits data to a minimum of 10 nm line of sight);
• Compact design enables mobile operations for civil/ military/government operations;
• Easy to read handheld receiver for use by dispatch/ground personnel or pilots in-flight - other means of data dissemination include telephone dial-in, internet and automated voice transmission over discreet frequency;
• Supports Part 135 IFR operations when used in conjunction with a FAA Approved visibility sensor (Belfort Model #6230A).
