Three different configurations are available: with chart recording, with potentiometric output, or both. All gauges feature large capacity, with built-in overflow protection in the event that maximum capacity is exceeded.
These gauges are ideally suited for remote unattended operation. Heating is not required to melt frozen precipitation and a large teflon-coated collector prevents "snow-bridging" over the orifice. The chart recording Model 6071 operates for up to one month on a single chart. The potentiometric output Model 6071 P can operate unattended until full capacity is reached, and it is compatible with most dataloggers. The Model 6071 PR includes both chart recording and potentiometric output.
